I've always been drawn to Jay Cooke State Park, near Cloquet Minnesota, because of its iconic swinging bridge. Over time, I've become more and more enamored of the rest of the park and the surrounding trails, bridges and the Thomson Dam. The St. Louis River runs through the park, featuring gorgeous geology that highlights the water in a gorgeous foamy tan that looks like root beer. Foggy days in Jay Cooke are nothing short of magical.
