Description
The unique twists and turns of this Door County road bear the hallmark of famed Danish landscape designer Jens Jensen, who later in life settled in nearby Ellison Bay. As Highway 42 nears its end at the Northport Car Ferry Terminal on Lake Michigan, the road twists and turns through the trees like a winding forest stream. This was taken in October 2012, and specially colored and textured to look like a delicately hand-painted mural.
